CUPEPresident's messages

Hello Sisters and Brothers,

The A.C.E Child Development Centre currently has childcare spaces available for infants up to six years old.  The Centre (also known as the City Hall Daycare) is located in Calgary’s Municipal Building, directly across the street from the new Central Library.

A.C.E. Child Development Centre is a not-for-profit daycare that has served City of Calgary employees and their families since 1987.  The Centre prides itself on providing high quality care and educational programming delivered by experienced, motivated and long-serving early childhood educators.  They respect each child as an individual and support their development by taking time to get to know them and form positive relationships built on trust and love.  The children inspire both their programming and curriculum design, and are the reason they come to work each day.  They strongly believe in operating as a family, with highly qualified staff, supported by their volunteer Board of Directors, and through         meaningful partnerships with our surrounding community.

Have questions or want to register your child?

Contact the Program Supervisor, Deanna Reyes-Kinzer, either by phone at 403-268-5105, by e-mail at, or the Executive Director, Rebecca Leong, either by phone at 403-268-4803, by e-mail at, or lastly feel free to visit the newly published website

Nothing would please the Centre more than to have all the spots filled by the children of City employees.

Thank you and please remember to stay safe and practice proper COVID-19 protocol during these difficult times.

Your President,

Cyril Wilson
